Welcome to Street Smart Detroit. This is the development web site for a serious game about homelessness. The goal is to help the player to "see homelessness through thte eyes of the homeless" and to hopefully develop empathy, learn about issues facing the homeless, and to hopefully play a fun game. The development is in the Unity engine (http://www.unity3d.com) and we are always looking for donations of game items with on an urban theme, story writers, level designers, sound effects, programmers (Javascript and C#), and anyone who would like to contribute their time and effort. I will be posting a new demo game soon that you can play through your web browser. Stay tuned!
